Center Stage Theater Presents

"Do Black Patent Leather Shoes

Really Reflect Up?"

The Center Stage Theatre of St. Charles Community College will present the musical production "Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?" as the final performance of the 2008-2009 season.

The show will run July 21-26 in the Donald D. Shook Fine Arts Building on the SCC campus.
Performances are at 8 pm Tuesday-Saturday, July 21-25, and at 2 pm Sunday, July 26.

The play, based on the best-selling novel by John R. Powers, begins as 20-something Eddie Ryan recalls childhood memories of his Catholic education.  The play follows Eddie and seven of his friends from second grade through the senior prom and beyond.  The show captures the funnniest aspects of youthful growing pains and the trying moments of adolescence.

Members of the case include Jason Stavely of Florissant as Eddie, Josh Rowland of St. Peters as Felix, Justin Spurgeon of St. Charles as Louie, Chris Wacker of Wentzville as Mike, Chrissy Young of O'Fallon as Becky, Steafanie Kluba of O'Fallon as Virginia, Samantha Bonomo of St. Charles as Nancy, Becky Pasley of St. Charles as Mary, Melissa Harris of St. Louis as Sister Lee, Margaret O'Dea of St. Peters as Sister Helen, Emily Brown of St. Charles as Sister Monica Marie, and Dennis Mahlin of St. Charles as Father O'Reilly.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for seniors and college students with ID.  To purchase tickets, call the SCC Box Office at 636-922-8050.  For additional information, visit www.stchas.edu/calendars.  St. Charles Community College is located at 4601 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in Cottleville.
